WAEC PREPARATORY CLASSES

The West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) administered by the West African Examination Council is a standardized test that is used as a qualifying examination to enter into tertiary institutions. It is written by students in Anglophone West African countries, specifically the Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
Ever since its establishment Nigeria has produced the largest share of candidates (and funding) for the examination annually (about 80 per cent of the candidates for 2014 WASSCE were Nigerians). However, winners of the WASSCE in terms of country have not only emerged from one country. The winners interchangeably are Ghana and Nigeria, with Ghana winning 9 times and Nigeria having won 8 times.

We cannot overlook the fact that malpractice during examination is caused by lack of proper preparation.
